A Chipinge man fatally stabbed his wife in Gazaland after she confronted him for visiting Honde rural area without her consent.

A Chipinge man fatally stabbed his wife in a domestic dispute in Gazaland yesterday leaving residents shell shocked.

Sources privy to the development allege a woman identified as mai Tryfin was stabbed by her husband after she confronted him about going to rural areas without her consent.

“The deceased was stabbed after she confronted her husband baba Tryfin on why she went to Honde Valley without her consent.

“In rage baba Tryfin stabbed the wife with a kitchen knife before varnishing,” said the source.

Mai Tryfin tried to seek help next door but fell on her neighbour’s gate and died.

The suspect was seen boarding an Inter Africa bus going to Harare.

Chipinge district police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Blessing Kadzuraumera said he was yet to receive the case.
